ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed has said that the government is determined to hold talks with the Taliban despite recent drone attack in North Waziristan that killed outlawed militant group Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Hakimullah Mehsud among five other militants.

In a statement in Islamabad‚ the information minister said that the government does not want any hindrance in the dialogue process with the insurgents.

Rasheed said the government will take steps to check the elements‚ who want to impede the dialogue process.
