KABUL: At least 10 people were killed when Taliban attacked a NATO military compound in the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday morning.

Kabul provincial Police Chief Mohammad Ayuob Salangi said that militants blew up a suicide car bomb at the gate of NATO compound and attacked guards with small-arms fire‚ killing four guards and two civilians. He said all four suicide attackers were also killed.

Taliban claimed responsibility for the car bomb attack in the northeast of Kabul.
