Taliban peace talks: Nawaz, Nisar discuss future strategy

ISLAMABAD: A meeting was held between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad on Saturday, during which they discussed the future strategy for dialogue with the Taliban and steps required for peace in the country.

   

It came ahead of a scheduled meeting of the interior minister with members of the government and Taliban dialogue committees.

During the meeting, they will review the recent meeting of the government negotiating team with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Shura and decide about the future strategy.
