LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas has announced the summer vacation in all schools across the province from July 1 to August 1, 2021.

In a Twitter statement on Tuesday, the provincial education minister said that the summer vacation for schools of Punjab to start from July 1, 2021 till August 1, 2021.

   

Murad Raas requested all the children and their families to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19.

It’s worth mentioning that the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) had suggested the Punjab government to announce the summer vacation from July 18 to August 1.

Due to hot weather, the Punjab government had already changed the timings for all private and public schools from 7:00 am to 11:30 am.

Separately, summer vacation has also been announced in all the public/private schools, madrassahs, and academies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from July 1, 2021 to July 11, 2021.

In this regard, a notification was issued on Tuesday by the Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
