HANGU: At least 7 persons were killed and 10 others injured in a suicide blast that occurred in Duaaba town of Hangu’s Tall Tehsil on Monday, police.

Police said that the blast took place when a suicide bomber rammed his motorcycle with the car of a tribal leader Malik Habibullah Khan in Duaaba.

The explosion also destroyed seven other vehicles.

The injured and the dead were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Hangu as law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched their investigation.

Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the Hangu blast resulting into loss of precious lives.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has also condemned the dastardly act.
