The group stage of Asia Cup 2018 has almost reached its climax with top four teams proceeding to the next round ‘Super Four’ slated to begin on Friday. In ‘Super Four’ stage, Pakistan will face Afghanistan at Abu Dhabi on September 21 and then India on September 23 at Dubai, on same day Afghanistan and Bangladesh will again meet each other at Abu Dhabi, on September 25 India will take on Afghanistan, and on September 26 Pakistan will face Bangladesh at Abu Dhabi in last ODI before the final on September 28 at Dubai.
Earlier on Wednesday night, India outclassed Pakistan in a one-sided match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium by eight wickets.
Pakistan struggled from the very beginning and lost both their Openers Fakhar Zaman and Imam Ul Haq for just 3 runs. Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik somewhat strengthened the position by establishing an 82-run partnership.
But as both Babar and Malik lost their wickets on 47 and 43 runs respectively, rest of Pakistani battling lineup collapsed in no time. Even 6.5 Overs had yet to be bowled, Pakistan was all out for 162.
India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kedar Jadhav bagged three wickets each. Two were taken by Jasprit Bumrah and one by Kuldeep Yadav.

In reply, India reached the target comfortably by losing just two wickets in 29 Overs. Unlike Pakistan, Indian Openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan built a solid 86 runs partnership and scored 52 and 46 runs individually before getting out.
From Pakistan, Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf picked up one wicket each.
