The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is reaching to its climax as a few last Super 12 matches are now underway, leading towards the semi-final.
By Sunday night, it would have been certain that which four teams would be up against each other in semi-finals to seal the title.
As of now, a total of 39 T20 Internationals including 27 matches of Super 12 Round have been held in T20 World Cup 2022.
Though the Champions have yet to be ascertained by November 13 but the mega event has already produced some memorable performances by lower-ranked teams.
Such as, Ireland pulled off an upset against the mighty England while Zimbabwe astonished Pakistan with a 1-run victory at Perth.
Additionally, some individual brilliant performances have also been witnessed in T20 World Cup 2022.
In bowling, Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga is the highest wicket taker in the event. He has picked up 15 wickets with an average of 13.26.
Netherlands’ Bas de Leede, Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani, and Ireland’s Joshua Little have secured 11 wickets each.
Likewise, England’s Sam Curran, South Africa’s Anrich Nortje, and Netherlands’ Paul van Meekeren have taken 10 wicket each.
Pakistan’s leg-spinner Shadab Khan has bagged 8 wickets, and is placed at 11th position in the list of most wicket takers.
