The Indian right-hand batsman Suryakumar Yadav is currently occupying the top position in ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings with rating points of 863.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan with 842 points is at second place whereas New Zealand’s Devon Conway is holding the third position with 792 points.
Babar Azam and Aiden Markram of South Africa are at fourth and fifth positions respectively with 780 and 767 points.
Just a days ago, Mohammad Rizwan was atop in T20I Batsmen Rankings and his points had soared to 875. But following a dismal performance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, he slipped down to the second spot. His scores in the tournament remained 4, 14, 49, 4, and 32.
While Suryakumar Yadav prevailed through the tournament and scored 15, 51, 68, 30, and 61, resulting in his promotion to the top spot.
Even Pakistan’s Captain Babar Azam, who was also throned to the top of T20I batsmen rankings in 2018 and secured 896 points, is now out of touch as well, and has scored just 39 runs in his five innings of T20 World Cup 2022.
