Over the years, Pakistan has produced exceptional bowlers who not only enthralled the Cricketing World with their sheer pace and swing but also showcased their talent in the art of spin bowling.

After the T20 Cricket gain the prominence worldwide and the first T20 International took place between Australia and New Zealand at Auckland on February 17, 2005, it expeditiously surpassed other formats of the game in terms of popularity.

Since 2007 till now, eight ICC T20 World Cups have been held, reflecting how much popular and audience-driver, the format is.

Pakistan played their first T20I against England at Bristol on August 28, 2006 and won that match by 5 wickets.

So far, Pakistan has played 213 T20 Internationals. For Pakistan, Babar Azam has scored the highest number of runs (3,270) in his 92 T20I innings with an average of 41.39.

The 24-year-old leg-spinner Shadab Khan has taken the most number of wickets for Pakistan along with Shahid Afridi. They have bagged 97 T20I wickets each with averages of 21.15 and 24.35 respectively.
