The Security Forces killed six terrorists in an operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan District, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement, the ISPR said that an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted on March 08 by the Security Forces in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan District.

   

During the intense exchange of fire, six terrorists were killed and additionally, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from them.

The ISPR said that the killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and civilians.

It said that locals of the area appreciated the Security Forces’ response and expressed their full support to eliminate menace of terrorism from the area.
