MULTAN, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that a Saudi delegation will visit Islamabad after Eid-ul-Fitr to discuss the upcoming visit of the Saudi Crown Prince His Royal Highness Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Foreign Minister His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud to Pakistan.

While addressing a news conference in Multan on Wednesday, he termed the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Saudi Arabia as highly productive.

   

Qureshi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman signed an agreement under which the Saudi-Pakistani Supreme Coordination Council will be established that will provide an institutionalized and structured platform to boost relations between the two Countries.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that we have decided to move forward in all fields, especially energy collaboration, economic relations, investments, and job opportunities.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan accompanied by a high-level delegation including the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other members of the Federal Cabinet paid a three-day official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) from May 7-9, 2021.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians facing Israeli oppression and tyranny.

In their separate tweets, they said that Pakistan stands with Palestine.

They also shared the hashtags of ‘We Stand with Gaza’ and ‘We Stand with Palestine’.
