Saad advises Zardari to strengthen PPP

PoliticsSaad advises Zardari to strengthen PPP

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday advised Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari to strengthen his party, saying he was a clever political but unfortunately his party had badly melted.

Taking to media representatives in Lahore, the railways minister though praised the PPP’s recent public gathering at Parade ground in Islamabad but said the PPP which used to clinch landslide victories in the past now bagged only a few thousands votes.

Saad Rafique said the PPP had now become a regional party in Sindh, and its public gatherings (Jalsas) against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) just benefited the ruling party.

The minister said the PPP and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were competing with each other in abuses. He said the opposition parties had the right to differ to ruling party and give their dissenting opinions but telling lies in their Jalsas could never be endorsed.

The railways minister further said PML-N was the largest political party of the Country, and it was not afraid of any situation or alliance. He said political parties crossed all limits to damage PML-N but they couldn’t harm it.

“We believe in vote and Constitutional supremacy,” Saad Rafique said adding PPP, PTI and other political parties couldn’t bow down PML-N.

Furthermore, Saad Rafique said Chaudhry brothers were like robots in politics.
