Polling underway for by-elections in PP-107 Pindi Bhattian

PINDI BHATTIAN: The polling is in progress for the by-elections of Punjab assembly constituency PP-107 Pindi Bhattian while the Election Commission of Pakistan and district administration have made foolproof arrangements to hold the elections.

A tough contest is expected between the candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the by-elections for PP-107 Pindi Bhattian constituency.

A total of 175,339 male and female registered voters would cast their votes at 154 polling stations.

As many as 1,629 policemen have been deputed at polling stations to ensure peaceful polling.

The PML-N candidate Sarfaraz Bhatti and the PTI’s Nighat Intisar Bhatti are contending for the seat.
