Muslims throughout Pakistan will observe the first fast of Ramazan 2020 on Saturday (April 25).
Earlier on Thursday evening, the moon of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak wasn’t sighted anywhere in the Country, as per the announcing of the Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
The Holy Month of Ramazan 2020 has arrived amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic; therefore, a 20-point Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have already agreed upon between the government and religious scholars.
Under the SOPs, the elderly & sick people and children have been barred from visiting the mosques for the religious rituals while the mosques administrations have been asked to follow certain precautionary measures to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19.
Talking to media in Karachi, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman also called for strictly following the 20-point SOPs for mosques as announced by the government, and warned that the government would take strict action against those found involved in violating the SOPs.
The following are Ramadan Timings 2020 to be observed in Major Cities of Pakistan during the holy month.
