ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: All Islamabad and Rawalpindi two-day Bando Championship 2021-22 concluded here in Bhara Kahu with a colourful closing ceremony attended by people from all walks of life.

The two-day All Islamabad and Rawalpindi Bando Championship 2021-22 was won by the Islamabad team.

A large number of players from the twin cities participated in the event.

The people of both Islamabad and Rawalpindi took a special interest in the event and encouraged the athletes for their best performances.

On the final day, Grand Master Abdul Sattar Niazi, President Pakistan Bando Federation, President Islamabad Bando Association Afzal Babar, Vice Chairman Chaudhry Afzal Hussain, Vice Presidents Syed Imtiaz Ali and Amjad Ali Abbasi, Secretary General Ali Imran Rajput.

Finance Secretary Mohsin Ali Abbasi and Executive Member Muhammad Azam Khan along with the Gilgit-Baltistan Special Representative Eid Ali and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Special Representative Akhtar Munir were present on the occasion.

Speakers hailed Grand Master M. Ashraf Tai, pride of performance and Chairmen Pakistan Bando Federation and Grand Master Abdul Sattar Niazi, President Pakistan Bando Federation for their services for introducing Bando in Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, President Islamabad Bando Association Afzal Babar congratulated both teams and also their participants who secure Medals in this event and said that organizing such healthy activities is important for students.

Chaudhry Afzal Hussain said that the youth are determined to strengthen sports to save them from social evils.

Vice Presidents Syed Imtiaz Ali and Amjad Ali Abbasi said that martial arts was a very good tool to make Pakistan strong and stable.

Azam Khan said that martial arts should be set up in every school, college, and area so that children can give up the use of mobile and grow up in a good and physical environment.

Eid Ali announced that the Bando championship would be held in Gilgit in 2022.
