Earlier, when Bangladesh resumed their first innings, the Centurion Liton Das was plumped LBW off the bowling of Hasan Ali after adding just one run to his individual score of 113.

The following batsman Yasir Ali was also bowled by Hasan Ali for just 4 runs.

Mushfiqur Rahim fell short of 9 runs to score his eighth Test Century and was caught behind off Faheem Ashraf’s ball for 91.

Later, Mehidy Hasan Miraz built up two brief partnerships of 28 and 26 runs with Taijul Islam and Abu Jayed respectively. The ninth and tenth number batsmen got out on 11 and 8 runs respectively while the eleventh number batsman Ebadot Hossain could not open his account.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz remained unbeaten on 38.

In the bowling, Hasan Ali took 5 wickets, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Faheem Ashraf 2 each while Sajid Khan bagged 1 wicket.

To date, Pakistan have remained undefeated against Bangladesh in Test matches. The two teams have previously played 11 Tests against each other and 10 of them were won by Pakistan while one match ended in a draw.
