TourismPTDC to organize Gandhara Week and Tourism Convention

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tourism Development Cooperation (PTDC) is planning to organize a Gandhara Week and Tourism Convention to promote tourism at local and international level.

“As per vision of Prime Minister, PTDC is struggling hard to promote tourism within the country and abroad to create a tourist friendly image of Pakistan all over the world,” said an official of PTDC while talking to APP.

With an objective to introduce Pakistani culture and attract local as well as foreign tourists, PTDC has been working hard to promote beautiful picnic spots situated in far-flung areas, especially where the private sector is shy to invest.

PTDC is currently operating a dozen Tourist Information Centres all over the country to provide information, travel guide, brochures and maps to tourists for planning their holidays, he added.

He said that Pakistan is endowed with the rich and diverse cultural and religious heritage and has everything which a tourist dreams of.
