  • Durrani terms all such reports baseless, concocted
  • Response to be submitted as per law whenever notice received: Khan’s lawyer

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has refuted the reports regarding the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) notice to the PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in connection with Al Qadir University Trust Case and termed all such reports baseless and concocted.

PTI Senior leader Dr. Iftikhar Durrani and Imran Khan’s lawyer Intizar Hussain Panjutha negated any such report and stated that a reply of PTI Chairman was only submitted in the above-mentioned case on Thursday.

Dr. Iftikhar Durrani said that Bushra Bibi did not receive any NAB notice hitherto and all such reports circulating in the media were false and baseless.

In his reaction to the reports, Imran Khan’s lawyer Intizar Panjotha clarified that on behalf of the PTI Chairman, they submitted a reply to the NAB in the Al Qadir University Trust Case, which was also shared with the media.

However, he said that whereas Bushra Bibi did not receive any call-up notice in the Al-Qadir Trust Case, whenever a notice was received, a response would be given according to the law.

Dr. Iftikhar Durrani further stated that Imran Khan received a call up notice from NAB on Wednesday-last of which his legal team submitted a detailed reply on Thursday.
