LAHORE, Pakistan: Maryam Nawaz on Friday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has become invincible, believing opponents could not beat it in politics and elections.
The PML-N leader and daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, is currently running a high-voltage election campaign on behalf of her mother Kulsoom Nawaz for September 17’s by-election in Lahore’s NA-120 Constituency.
Talking to media in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz claimed that opponents could not compete with PML-N in politics and elections; therefore, they had now begun hatching conspiracies against it and its leadership.
Maryam said now PML-N’s opponents were hiding behind the Courts and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
“We are not afraid of any one or criticism. Everyone knows about the elements who were hatching conspiracies against PML-N,” Maryam said.
Maryam Nawaz said the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had been disqualified for having “Iqama” as he had no corruption charges and his hands were clean.
The PML-N leader said but despite their reservations over Panama verdict, yet they accepted the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Maryam hoped PML-N’s future was bright and it would be proved in upcoming NA-120 bye-election.
