ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and the Chairman Senate Standing Committee for Information and Broadcasting Senator Faisal Javed has said that that joint opposition can protest as its their democratic right but he categorically mentioned that nobody will be allowed to take law in their hands.
In a statement on Wednesday, Faisal Javed termed opposition’s call for protest, a plea to get a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
Senator Faisal Javed continued criticizing Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), saying that both parties used to give NROs to each other in their respective eras but this time they must bear in mind that they are dealing with Imran Khan.
The PTI leader further said that PPP leaders have always snuck away whenever their ill-gotten wealth is under questioned. He said that earlier it was a joint Iftar, now the call for protests on the streets, joint opposition’s failed attempts to secure a NRO.
Faisal Javed said that throwing tantrums at Prime Minister Imran Khan following their appearances before the courts, speaks volumes about their obsession to get relief in the ongoing accountability.
“They must learn that their game plan has utterly failed and to return looted money is the only way out,” he marked.
