BUNER, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday demanded the formation of a National Commission, saying if anyone was found a traitor, he would be hanged publically.
While addressing a public gathering in Buner, Nawaz Sharif said the National Commission must be formed to investigate either he had betrayed his Country or not.
“That person was called a traitor who is ready to die for his Country,” Nawaz Sharif said.
The former prime minister said a National Commission must also be formed over money laundering charges. He said the Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal must also be brought before that Commission wherein he must seek apology and relinquish his Office.
Nawaz Sharif said they wouldn’t spare the Chairman NAB as the latter leveled baseless allegations. He said an elected prime minister was ousted and maltreated.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid said they would not allow the sanctity of vote to be disrespected. He said PML-N would win the next general elections on the basis of its performance.
Nawaz Sharif said Imran Khan had failed to deliver in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa whereas the PML-N government spread network of Motorways across the Country, eradicated terrorism from the Country, and established peace in Buner.
Now treason card being played against Nawaz Sharif: Maryam Nawaz
Earlier while addressing, the PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz said now treason card was being played against Nawaz Sharif.
Maryam Nawaz said the people had elected Nawaz Sharif thrice, and he made Pakistan a nuclear power. She said Nawaz Sharif’s relation with masses was strengthening with every passing day because he delivered to masses.
“Our opponents are trying to break the Nawaz Sharif’s relation with masses,” Maryam said.
