ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Following the debacle in the first phase of the Khyber Pakhtukhwa local government election, Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is also the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has dissolved all party organizations.

Briefing media persons about the decisions taken in a senior party leadership meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Friday, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain told that all Chairmen and Organizers of the Committees will stand removed from their respective designations.

The information minister said that a new Constituent Committee, comprising the national leadership of the PTI, has been set up which would work on the new Constitution and Organizing Structure of the party.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain told that a mechanism would be established to decide about candidates for the local government elections.

The minister told that it has also been decided to set up another Committee at the federal level to decide about whom should be given a ticket for the party seat in any particular constituency.
