ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’s Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party (PJDP) on Tuesday suffered a strong blow after its Secretary General Abdul Wahab Baloch Advocate announced to join the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The PJDP Secretary General Abdul Wahab Baloch Advocate met the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant for Political Affairs Naeemul Haq in Islamabad, and announced his allegiance to PTI.

Abdul Wahab Advocate also announced to withdraw disqualification cases from all Courts filed against the Chairman PTI Imran Khan.Iftikhar Chaudhry’s PJDP Secretary General joins PTI, announces to withdraw cases against Imran Khan

The PJDP Sindh Chapter President Mohammad Asif Qureshi, Senior President Anwar Baloch and Deputy President Sardar Sindh Munawar Ali Khan also announced to join PTI.

In addition, the Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party leader in Islamabad Nabila Irum Advocate and Naimat Ullah Wigan also parted away with their party and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Naeemul Haq welcomed the joining of Abdul Wahab Baloch Advocate along with other PJDP leaders in PTI.

Abdul Wahab Advocate said that after Quaid-e-Azam, the nation has again been blessed with an insightful, dynamic, and honest leader in the form of Imran Khan

The former PJDP secretary general said that they fully endorse Imran Khan’s views for the Country’s stability and development. He said that the prime minister has set a strong foundation of good governance in the Country in first 100 days. They said that they would strengthen the prime minister’s hands for Pakistan’s development.

Chief of the Air Staff expressed his gratitude for the honour of receiving the Bahrain Medal - First Class. On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
