ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has announced to hold a Jalsa in the Constituency of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

It’s worth noting that Ali Amin Gandapur defeated Maulana Fazlur Rehman in NA-38 Dera Ismail Khan-I Constituency in 2018 general elections by securing 81,032 votes while the JUI-F Chief received 45,796 votes.

In a statement on Saturday, Ali Amin Gandapur – who is now the Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan – said that he would hold a power show in Maulana’s Constituency and draw an even bigger crowd.

The PTI leader also challenged Maulana Fazlur Rehman to re-contest the election against him in the Constituency. He said that how a person, who suffered a thrashing defeat from his own Constituency, can demand the prime minister’s resignation.

Gandapur said that he is ready to relinquish his seat and face the JUI-F Chief in the polls. He said that if Maulana wants, he can install cameras in each of the polling stations.

Ali Amin Gandapur asked Maulana Fazlur Rehman to avoid criticizing institutions, and dare to accept his challenge. He said that they would inflict a thrashing defeat upon him, which he would remember for life. He said that JUI-F Chief may stage a sit-in as long as he wants but he should also reply to his notice.
