PoliticsAccountability is in full swing across the board: Cheema

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Central Information Secretary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Omar Sarfaraz Cheema has said that for the first time in the Country’s history, accountability is in full swing across the board without any discrimination, and State institutions and judiciary are functioning independently.

While commenting on the Joint Opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC), Cheema said that if there is a shred of conscience left in the opposition leaders, they should have been seeking forgiveness from the public over the massive corruption and failed policies that have brought the Country’s economy on the verge of collapse.

“Instead of working out plans for the restoration of economy, the corrupt lot is whining over the ongoing accountability,” he said.

The PTI leader further said that for opposition leaders, the only way out is to return the looted wealth or to present documented evidences of their amassed wealth.

“There’s no room for “Muk Muka” and “Noora Kushti” in the Country anymore,” he remarked.

Omar Sarfaraz Cheema also said that 25th July will always be remembered as the dawn of democracy in the political history of Pakistan, the Day, when the people of Pakistan outlawed the corrupt and incompetent civil dictators from power.
