ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Resorting to their old-style politics of maligning Pakistan Army and top judiciary when their vested interests are not served, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Javed Latif has once again pinned blame on former Pakistan Army Chiefs to oust the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from the Office to fulfill the agenda of anti-Pakistan forces.

Taking to senior anchorperson Kashif Abbasi on his “Off the Record” Programme on ARY News on Tuesday night, Javed Latif said that a foreign conspiracy was hatched to remove Nawaz Sharif as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Javed Latif said that Nawaz Sharif was serving for the betterment of the Country but an international conspiracy was hatched to sabotage Pakistan’s progress, resulting in his ouster from power in July 2017.

The PML-N leader alleged that anti-Pakistan forces didn’t want to see Pakistan flourishing, and from the former Army Chief General Raheel Sharif to General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and the ex-Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) General Faiz Hameed all acted as local handlers for serving the agenda of anti-Pakistan forces to remove Nawaz Sharif from the Office.

It’s not the first time that PML-N has spewed venom against the military establishment. In fact, Mian Javed Latif was once booked and arrested in April 2021 on charges of treason and inciting people against state institutions.

Interestingly, PML-N targets the PTI Chief Imran Khan for blaming the United States and the then Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa for toppling his government under a regime change conspiracy, with a narrative that his accusations damaged Pakistan’s ties with the US. But they themselves never felt hesitant to malign the armed forces, judiciary, or even the global powers, and run a malicious propaganda against them to achieve their own political objectives.
