ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Rehmatul-Lil Alameen Scholarship Program in Islamabad on Thursday under which annually 50,000 Scholarships would be awarded to Intermediate and BS (Hons) Students.

A budget of Rs 27.93 billion has been approved for the national level program which will be used in the next five years.

   

The program will be implemented in 129 Public Sector Universities across the Country, and it will help the students of underprivileged segments of the society access the undergraduate education.

The provinces are also pursuing Rehmatul-Lil Alameen Scholarship Program. Scholarship Program.

In Punjab, the annual budget of Rs 1 billion has been approved for the Scholarship Program.

The Rehmatul-Lil Alameen Scholarship Program will also be rolled out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for which the budget allocation will be Rs 427 million.
