LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) has nominated senior journalist Najam Sethi for the post of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Saturday.
In a letter to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif‚ PPP’s Raja Riaz said the names of Mian Aamir and Riaz Randhawa‚ which were earlier proposed for the slot‚ have been withdrawn.
Meanwhile‚ Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has proposed names of Rana Sanaullah‚ Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman‚ and Iqbal Channar for assembly committee to decide on a caretaker chief minister Punjab.
