KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday took notice of the fact that estranged PPP leaders are contesting elections independently against PPP ticket holders in various constituencies.

Bilawal, while taking notice of the situation, said that efforts would be made to persuade estranged PPP leaders to withdraw from elections against PPP ticket holder candidates.

PPP chairman will begin addressing various election rallies via video link from tomorrow.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari will arrive in Karachi today to oversee PPP’s election campaign.

Sources said that President Zardari has been advised by his spiritual leader to reside near Arabian Sea until the general elections.
