ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) is running 159 schools throughout the Country to pull out the children from bonded labour and to impart them education, the Managing Director PBM Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar told the Heads of Diplomatic Mission’s Spouses Group who on Tuesday paid a visit to the School for Rehabilitation of Child Labour run by PBM in Islamabad.

Upon their arrival, the managing director PBM welcomed the distinguished guests and gave a detailed briefing about the PBM’s poor-friendly initiatives being taken under the Prime Minister’s Ehsaas Program to uplift the lives of the vulnerable community of the Country.

   

The managing director told that children at the PBM-run schools are also provided pocket money on a daily basis while monthly stipends are also given to their parents.

Moreover, uniform, books, stationery, healthcare, and hair cutting facility is also available to these children free of charge.

The dignitaries appreciated the initiative and also vowed to carry out the social services in the country along with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.

The spouses of ambassadors from different Countries visited all the classrooms and made conversation with the students.

The Heads of Diplomatic Mission’s Spouses Group also distributed sweets and books among the students.
