ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) is being celebrated on Tuesday with great religious fervor and solemnity.
Today’s main feature is the National Seerat Conference in Islamabad which is being organized by Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
On this blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the Government of Pakistan extends heartfelt greetings to the nation.

Meanwhile, streets, roads, buildings, mosques, and houses have been decorated with colorful lights to mark this auspicious occasion.
Milad processions are being taken out in all cities in which Ulema and Khateeb will highlight all aspects of life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) stressing adherence to his teachings and Sunna.
Mahafil-e-Milad are also being organized in all small and major cities to highlight life and teachings of the last prophet.
In their separate messages on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him), President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have urged the nation and the Muslim Ummah to follow teachings of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) as a guiding light to overcome prevailing challenges.
President Zardari said that the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a source of guidance for humanity until the Day of Judgment. He said that we need to spread the message of love and compassion for humanity taught by the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
In his message, the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the blessed life, noble character, and exemplary conduct of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) serves as a beacon of light for entire humanity.
The prime minister said tah thte on this day, we should also remember our oppressed brothers and sisters in Palestine and Kashmir, who are facing tyranny and oppression.
