KARACHI: Muttahaida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday filed a defamation case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman claiming damages to the tune of Rs5 billion for hurling, what they it said, unfounded allegations against the MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

Talking to media out the Sindh High Court, MQM Leader Farooq Sattar said that MQM legal aide filed Barrister Farogh Nasim on behalf of his party.

Sattar said that PTI leader Imran Khan wrongfully accused MQM Chief Altaf Hussain as being involved in the murder PTI leader Zahra Shahid just a day before May 11 elections in Karachi.
