SKARDU: Father and son mountaineers of New Zealand go missing on K2 and there is no contact with them since July 26.

Colonel (retd) Manzoor, the President Alpine Club confirmed that 53-year old New Zealander mount climber Martin Walter and his 26-year old son Denali are out of reach and contact from July 26 and both were in contact till Camp-3 but after that lost communication thereafter.

A Nepalese mountaineer, who tried to locate those missing mount climbers, has informed that a landslide has fallen on Camp-3 and  he fears that they have faced some mishap.

Total nine mountaineers went missing at Broad Peak, Gusha Broom, and K2 Mountain this year and out of those, seven mount climbers’ killings were confirmed after search.
