Government of PakistanMany Court’s decisions not acceptable to nation: Khaqan

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Saturday said political decisions were made through the vote rather than courts, and also said the court’s decision could be controversial.

“Political decision should be left with the people’s vote,” the prime minister said while address a Ceremony at which he laid foundation stone of two NHA projects Northern Bypass and Rakh Gaj Bowata Section of Indus Highway in Dera Ghazi Khan.

The prime minister said many decisions of the court were not acceptable to the nation.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) works could be seen everywhere in the Country.

“I am very hopeful that PML-N will be succeeded from DG Khan,” he said.

Khaqan Abbasi said they tolerated everything and continued their working. He said five years were not enough to clean up the mess of last 15 years. He said PML-N was interrupted many times in its working through sit-ins.

The bypass project worth Rs 13 billion will divert the heavy traffic currently passing through the heart of the DG Khan City besides reducing the travel time and distance. The construction of five bridges and a flyover at railway crossing is also part of the project.
