ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said the federal government will provide electricity to all provinces according to their needs.

In an interview‚ he said various dams are being planned in Chitral‚ Swat and other parts of the country‚ to generate electricity.

He said unscheduled load shedding going is because of technical faults‚ which will be removed soon.

Khawaja Asif said PML-N government has generated record electricity after coming to power.

To a question‚ he said the government has decided to increase power tariff for industrial sector.

However‚ the domestic consumers will get cheaper electricity.
