Israel's offensive in Gaza: Palestinian death toll crosses 800

GAZA CITY: At least two more persons were killed in the Israeli offensive in the besieged Gaza strip on Friday, bringing the total death toll of Palestinian killed in Israel’s assault since July 8 to 805.

The latest victims were a 26-year-old woman and another 23-year-old pregnant woman who lost their lives in an Israeli airstrike in the southern Gaza town of Deir-el-Balah on Friday.

Moreover, two other persons who sustained critical injuries in an earlier attack in the city of Khan Yunis also succumbed to their injuries.

At least 119 Palestinians were killed on Thursday, making it one of the bloodiest days of the Israeli onslaught on Gaza.
