ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Inter-University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences (IUCPSS) and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) will organize a joint International Conference on History and Culture of Bahawalpur in the Federal Capital in December 2020.

   

The understandings reached between both the organizations during a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in connection with International Literacy Day 2020 for the promotion of education.

The Vice-Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Professor Dr. Athar Mahboob and the National Coordinator International Consortium for Promotion of Education Murtaza Noor signed the MoU.Islamia University of Bahawalpur - The Inter University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences (IUCPSS) and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) will organize a joint International Conference on History and Culture of Bahawalpur in the Federal Capital in December 2020. Both the organizations agreed to organize 4th edition of the students convention in South Punjab.  A number of activities prior to the event will also be organized to motivate maximum students across Pakistan. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur will also facilitate and actively collaborate with the IUCPSS for establishing Network of Campus based Student Societies and Clubs.  Both the organizations will enhance cooperation for Strengthening of Student Societies of IUB and creating linkages with other organizations and continue to work together for strengthening social sciences and promoting values of effective and responsible citizenship among the students.

Both the organizations agreed to organize the 4th edition of the students convention in South Punjab.
