News'Indian diplomat was threatening my mother,' says Kulbhushan Jadhav

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The death-raw convict Indian Spy Kulbhushan Jadhav has once again thanked the government of Pakistan for arranging a meeting with his family but along with it, he also expressed anguish over the threatening attitude of the Indian diplomat towards his mother.

In his fresh video statement issued by the Foreign Office prior to its weekly media briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Kulbhushan Jadhav expressed his gratitude to the Pakistani government and authorities for letting him meet with his mother and wife on December 25, 2017.

“I want to tell the people that I am a Commissioned Officer of Indian Navy,” Kulbhushan Jadhav said rejecting the Indian stance that he was a retired Naval Officer and now had opted business as a profession.

Kulbhushan Jadhav also said that his family was happy over his health, adding that he told his mother and wife that he was not subject to torture while being detained in in Pakistan.

“I was so happy to meet my mother,” he said.

The detained RAW agent also said that the Indian diplomat was threatening his mother when she along with her daughter-in-law arrived at the Foreign Office in Islamabad for a meeting. He said that the Indian diplomat scolded his mother and subjected her to mental torture.

“I saw fear in my mother’s eyes”, Yadhav said.

It was the second video statement of Kulbhushan Jadhav released following his meeting with his family in Islamabad.

“I am really thankful to the government of Pakistan for showing this grand gesture”, Kulbhushan Jadhav had said in his first video statement.

Kulbhushan Jadhav had also said in detention, he had been treated with dignity and honour, and in a very professional manner by the Pakistani authorities.

However after the unprecedented meeting, India hurled fresh allegations against Pakistan, accusing it of mistreating Jadhav’s family; which Islamabad rejected terming them baseless, counterproductive and regrettable.
