Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced a raise of 15 percent for the officers and men of the Frontier Corps (FC) and Rangers.
While addressing officers and men of the Frontier Corps and Pakistan Rangers in Balochistan’s Naushki area on Tuesday, the prime minister said that no other army had faced unprecedented challenges due to acts of terrorism, which the Pakistan army faced in the wake of war in Afghanistan.
The prime minister said that the Pakistan army excelled in its professionalism and helped in steering the Country out of terrorism. He said that the entire nation acknowledged how the armed forces fought the terrorists with outstanding bravery.

Imran Khan also expressed the resolve that no acts of terror can deter Pakistan from moving forward on path of peace and stability. He vowed to give a befitting response to the terrorists, who are trying in vain to hamper the pace of progress, particularly in Balochistan.
Talking about Balochistan, he said that all available resources are being utilized for the development of the province and remove sense of deprivation among people of the province.
The prime minister said that the second phase of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is focusing on promoting industrialization and technology which will directly benefit Balochistan.
Meanwhile along with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Prime Minister Imran Khan met troops who participated in repulsing terrorist attack on February 2 in Naushki.
Both the prime minister and the COAS were a given detailed update on the security situation in the area and operational preparedness of the formation to counter terrorist activities.
