ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of the International Department of Communist Party of China (IDCPC) and Member of the Communist Party’s Central Committee Liu Jianchao called on the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Friday.
Welcoming Liu Jianchao to Pakistan, the deputy prime minister said that Pakistan and China are all-weather friends, strategic partners and trusted neighbours who have always supported each other on their respective core interests.
The deputy prime minister said that Pakistan-China relations and CPEC enjoy full support and confidence of all political parties in Pakistan as it has opened up new vistas of progress, prosperity and development.
Minister Liu Jianchao said that Pakistan-China ties are unique with no parallel in modern inter-state relations.
The visiting dignitary underscored that China is committed to working with Pakistan to add further substance and scope to bilateral ties and upgrade CPEC as envisaged by the leadership of the two Countries.
The two sides agreed to maintain the momentum of high-level engagements and to further enhance communication on important regional and global issues.
