KARACHI: An FIR was lodged on Friday by police against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) lawmaker Nabeel Gabol in the murder case of banned People Aman Committee (PAC) leader Zafar Baloch.

Zafar Baloch, a key figure of the outlawed PAC, was shot dead on Wednesday by unknown assailants on motorcycles in Karachi’s Lyari area.

The FIR was lodged against the lawmaker on behalf of Baloch’s father, who told police that assailants riding motorbikes killed his son, adding that he could identify the attackers.
