Ukraine agrees for ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine under pressure from Germany and France

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has confirmed that Ukraine has agreed for ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine

The decision was taken at the meeting of foreign misters of Ukraine, Germany. France and Russia

Joint Statement issued after meeting indicates as:

The cease-fire should be monitored by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine in conformity with its mandate,” the document reads.

All sides must contribute to a secure environment,” the statement concluded emphasizing the need to ensure safety and security of journalists working in the area of violence.

Steinmeier expressed hope that by working together the sides will be able to stop “the escalation of the conflict, which has taken place in recent days.”

Pro EU government of Kiev is depending upon European Union to help in crises Ukraine is facing in its eastern regions that are allegedly being disintegrated from Ukraine by pro-Russian forces. President Poroshenko enforced Martial Law in  eastern Regions and then refused to continue truce with eastern separatist groups but pro-EU government in kiev faced heavy loses during the last two days and so called self defence forces downed helicopters of Ukrainian army.
