ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain Friday called upon the member states of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to increase trade among them.

The President was talking to the outgoing ambassador of Morocco to Pakistan Mustapha Salahdine who paid a farewell call on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

The President noted that bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and Morocco was below potential and called for increasing it.

He said unnecessary duties between Pakistan and Morocco should be done away with to boost bilateral trade activities.

The President said Pakistan offers attractive investment opportunities and Moroccan entrepreneurs should benefit from it.

The President called for regular exchange of delegations in the fields of education, culture and other sectors between Pakistan and Morocco.

He lauded Morocco’s journey to progress and prosperity under the leadership of Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane.

President Mamnoon Hussain conveyed his best wishes for the people and leadership of Morocco.

The outgoing ambassador of Morocco thanked the Government of Pakistan for extending support to his country on various regional and international issues.
