ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President National Party (NP) Mir Hasil Khan Biznjo on Saturday extended his full support to the federal government and up-coming Chief Minister Balochistan.

Addressing a Press conference, accompanied with Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Hasil Bizenjo said that his party is leaving the government in accordance with the Murree agreement.

He said a new precedence was being set through abidance of the agreement in the country, which he added was his party’s moral responsibility.

Meanwhile, outgoing chief minister Dr. Baloch said he did whatever he could for the progress and development of the province, adding that he was leaving behind his performance only.

He said he would welcome the new chief minister and vowed to continue his role for strengthening democracy and political stability in Balochistan.

He said that it was his moral obligation to fulfill the consent of Murree accord, adding that he was satisfied over his performance.

Abdul Malik Baloch said that his party would continue the struggle of strengthening democratic forces in the country and would support the efforts which helped in creating fertile ground for democracy.

He extended his greeting remarks to the up-coming Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri and wished him all the best for his tenure.

“We made efforts to tackle corruption and nepotism practices in the province” Malik added.

He said that transfers and posting in the province were made on merit.

He said on the request of the Balochistan government Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has granted vacated plot of Radio Pakistan and AG office building to the provincial government and Balochistan government has allocated funds for the construction of Mir Ghos Bukhsh Bizenjo sports complex and COMSAT institute campus on this plot, he added.
