ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) was a transparent project which was finalised after discussing in the parliament’s sessions and committees.

Talking to a news channel, he said if opposition present adjournment motion over the project in National Assembly, then he was ready to discuss and brief them again.

He said LNG was the only short-term project to overcome energy issue in the country.

Replying to a question about Orange Line Train Project, he said it was the vision of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) to provide respectable and standard transport facility to the people, adding, the federal government has also initiated Green Line Bus project in Karachi.

He said Metro Bus Project in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad was also providing standard transportation facility to thousands people daily.

He said the international community was also acknowledging the people friendly policies of the government.

He said Punjab was getting its less share through National Finance Commission (NFC) award but its performance was much better than other provinces in all the sectors including health, education and transportation.
