ISLAMABAD: These parties have vowed to support Mian Nawaz Sharif in the election of Leader of the House in the National Assembly.
JUI-F has decided to vote for Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the election for the Leader of the House to be held tomorrow (Wednesday)
Talking to media in Islamabad after meeting of the party’s parliamentary party on Tuesday‚ JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz( PML-N) had requested his party to vote for Nawaz Sharif in the election for the slot of the Prime Minister.
He said in response‚ the core committee in its meeting‚ decided to vote for Nawaz Sharif as a goodwill gesture.
Meanwhile‚ Qaumi Wattan Party-Sherpao has also announced to vote for Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the elections for the Leader of the house in the National Assembly.
The announcement was made by QWP-S Chief Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao after his meeting with PML-N leaders Ishaq Dar and Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad this afternoon.
Speaking on the occasion‚ Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao said his party will continue to support the PML-N government on national issues.
PML-Zia also announced to unconditionally support Mian Nawaz Sharif in the election of prime minister and Mian Shahbaz Sharif for the Punjab chief minister.
In an interview‚ the party chief Ijazul Haq said his party would fully support the new government to strengthen the democratic system in the country.
