JI will not become part of agitation to derail democracy: Siraj

PESHAWAR: JI will not become part of agitation to derail democracy: Siraj.

The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) ameer Siraj-ul-Haq said on Saturday that they will not become part of agitation which may derail democracy, adding that it is time to serve people rather than doing politics. However he said that JI will attend protest public rally announced by Imran Khan on Sunday May 11 in Islamabad D Chok.

The JI ameer was talking to media representatives in Peshawar on Saturday.  He believed that protest public rally of Tehrik-i-Insaf will be only a public rally in Islamabad on May 11 but not a sit in and will not harm democracy in Pakistan.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that democracy should be let to function as it is the best way to hold the politicians accountable.
