COAS leaves for China on two-day official visit

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has left for China on a two-day official visit on Saturday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement, the ISPR said that the COAS will hold meetings with the Chinese political and military leadership during his stay there.

Parliamentary delegation to pay five-day visit to China

A 10-member parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will also pay a five-day visit to China from Sunday.

The delegation includes Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, Dr Farooq Sattar, Siraj Muhammad Khan, Nasir Iqbal Bosal, Ehsanur Rehman, Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan, Asiya Naz Tanoli, Azhar Qayyum Nahra and Khalil George.

During his stay in China, the Speaker National Assembly will meet his Chinese counterpart, political leadership and business community.

The two sides will discuss steps to further strengthen bilateral relations in diverse fields.
