ISLAMABAD: Coke Studio Season six 2013 one of the most popular Pakistani music show is just around the corner. Yes, you got it right! The most awaited Season 6 of Coke Studio is starting soon and would hit your TV screens and internet most probably the first week of October 2013.

The show, which has had five successful seasons, used to get broadcast during the summer holidays but this time around it got delayed due to some unknown reasons. But it’s now confirmed that the show won’t skip this year and it’s better to be late sometimes than never.

We have reported earlier about the artists line up that would be seen performing in Coke Studio this time. Just to recall, we posted about Abrar ul Haq joining Coke Studio and then Ali Azmat’s return on it. Fariha Pervez too was spotted on the sets of Coke Studio but the most interesting part of this year’s Coke Studio will be its international approach.

As per our sources, Coke Studio is going international this time! And will feature Pakistani musicians along with the folk musicians of other countries. We have heard that Coke Studio house band flew all the way to Turkey to collaborate with some of their finest musicians. Seems like Rohail Hyatt is done with the likes of Baba Bulley Shah, Ghulam Farid, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and now want to explore the work of great Sufi poet, Jalaluddin Rumi.

Another interesting thing you will notice this time in Coke Studio, would be its state of the art studio which is now equipped with added visual elements. Guess, Coca Cola hasn’t left any stone unturned to make it an even bigger production this time.

Moscow says it won’t allow US to silence UNSC on Israeli violence against Palestinians Monitoring Desk: Russian envoy in United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said that the UN Security Council should bring peace, stability and prosperity to the Middle East and Russia would not allow United States to silence UNSC over the issue of Gaza crisis. According to TASS news Agency, Nebenzya said that Moscow will continue to call for an end to violence against Palestinians and will not allow the US to muzzle the UN Security Council as Washington seeks to support Israel's operation in Gaza. "We will continue to stand firmly for ending violence against the Palestinians. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will continue to expose the abuses and sanctimony with which the US is handling the situation.
