Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly, one half of the popular early 1990s rap duo Kris Kross, has died. He was found unresponsive in his home Wednesday afternoon and was taken to Atlanta Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He was 34.
No cause of death has been announced. County authorities said the death looks to be a homicide, though an Atlanta police spokesman death is being investigated as a drug overdose. An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday morning.
